My all new Samsung Galaxy S

It has been two weeks since i got this new Smart Phone "Samsung Galaxy S" from Samsung Dealer, KR Office Equipment-Domlur.. before getting it, reading/analyzing about this mobile, i was not confident on going for the Samsung brand for Mobile. for this mobile, Samsung really did a wonderful job.

My initial comments about this mobile, is, Awesome..may be since i'm using Full-Touch mobile phone for the first time.. but i'm all excited on using this. Still exploring on the complete feature list, but some of the key features that stand-out from the rest of its competitors are

> Awesome display - 4inch Super AMOLED Screen, Gorilla Glass, TouchWiz3.0 UI,Multi-touch
> Very Slim and light weight - 122.4mm x 64.2mm, 9.9mm thick, 119g
> Google Operating System - Android 2.1 (Eclair), soon will be upgraded to 2.2 (Froyo),
> Good Memory - 16GB internal storage,  512MB RAM, 2GB ROM
> Smooth Multi-tasking - 1GHz Processor for games, social networking, camera, etc etc at the same time
> How can i miss talking about camera!!! just 5MP main camera, but has touch focus, smile detection, panaromic shot option, HD video recording 720p@30fps.. and secondary VGA for video call

Also one more feature i like in this is the SWYPE text input method. So, no touching of individual alphabet.. just slide your finger over the letters in the order, and it gets the word from that.. this makes sending sms a little more fun..
and also the amazing viewing angle of the screen..

@Revathy - battery is fine, compared to other smart phones, and for this brilliant bright display... also, with lots of applications running all thru the day, was able to make call without plugging in to the charger...
a smartphone lasting for a whole day without re-charging is a good sign only..
