my first TIPs

Posted by redthil On 5/04/2010 09:39:00 AM

Last week, one of my close friend opened an ice-cream shop "Kold Stone Creamery" @ Abirami Mall. So, me and my another friend went there for that opening day. And since its the first day, it was kind of practicing session only. so, each one of us, took care of some work there. and me, as the waiter. though have lil experience in serving people, for those social service activities as part of YRC, this one is REAL. means, its all about convincing or acting nicely to them... the same way we receive when we go to some other restaurants. among those 5 groups whom i served, one gave me tips of Rs. 10 for the bill of Rs. 80 !!!! wow!!!! i never thought of it... i dint know how to react to that, what to say to him... so, just said thank you, as usual. :) we always sit on the other side of this... so, It was sooo nice... different and awesome experience you know... thanks to my friend, for giving me this wonderful opportunity..

(thanks for these snaps Vijesh)

some interesting questions also came my way.. and you know this is ice-cream shop... one family asked whether they can just get fruit-salad instead of ice-cream... one other question was, one old man asking, "do you have sugar-free ice-creams?"... well, interesting and funny, to know how people ask question to escape from ordering something, and just to sit and relax for some time in that cool shop...

And if you're visiting Abirami Mall @ Chennai, please do visit this shop in third floor...

All the best to my friend for this new venture!!!

learn to be backward/forward compatible...

Posted by redthil On 8/17/2009 10:55:00 PM

You might have heard about 'backward compatibility' in programming. for those who wonder what jargon am i talking about, let me give you a quick explanation. "In programming languages, backwards compatibility refers to the ability of a compiler for version N of the language to accept programs or data that worked under version N-1" (thanks to wikipedia). To explain it in English, its just a newer system, still be able to understand and communicate fluently with the previous old system. let me not confuse u more (hope u got what is backward compatible).

Lets now take a different route. lets talk about human interactions. when it comes to human, i dont like to measure the compatibility comparing with his/her own previous stage/version. Its measured between two persons, over time period or entire life. well, how do we define 'version's? i define it based on the person's experience, like, a person gets to a higher version, if he/she gets a sudden change, from which you see the same world little differently, which means gaining new experience. And the frequency of this version change is indirectly proportional to the age, whereas the version number is directly proportional to the age. By "between two persons", i'm not refering to just life-partners only, or to-be life partners only. This two persons can be related with any relationship, like dad/mom-son/daughter, lovers, life-partners, grandpa/grandma-grandson/granddaughter, or any distant relationships like relatives or beyond any relationship like friends. Also it does not depend on the gender of the two persons.

When two persons of same version has conversation, it always goes smoothly. The problem arises when there is difference in the version between the two person, or some version change happened just to one person among the two. The output of the conversation depends on how the communication between the two different version person flows. The lower version person (being in the modern world) may have advanced thinking and desires based on the present scenario. but still, the higher version person may reject your message, because its not sent in the proper way which the higher version person can accept it . So, instead of valuing your message, the higher version person simply considers the message from lower version person as invalid (which in lower-version standards, is very valid message). And the similar event happens when the higher version sends message to the lower version person, which is again rejected by the lower version person, considering the message as invalid. So, it always proves that, its always a problem when there is conversation between two different version persons.

So, Whats to solution to this problem? This has to be looked from two different views. First, from the lower version person: you haven't got/gained enough experience, hence you're in lower version. so, try to have "forward compatibility", by re-coding yourself in such a way to get the messages from higher version, decode it properly, and accept it if valid, otherwise, reply to that message in a way, which that higher version person can understand properly. Secondly, from higher version person: you might have got more experience, but some of which may be outdated. so, try to be "backward compatible", so that u can receive the message from lower version person, decode it properly, accept it if valid, otherwise, reply to that message in a way that lower version can understand properly.

When you consider yourself, you have persons with lower version, as well as persons with higher versions. Hence, to have smooth conversations/relationship, always learn to be both backward and forward compatible.

(I know. into too much of programming suddenly, may result in such kind of posts having stupid way of explaining things. cant help. please bear with me for some more time huh.. ;) )

Yesterday @ 5pm

Posted by redthil On 8/13/2009 07:32:00 AM

i rushed out of my office, not to see my GF (since there is none like that), not to see any of my waiting friends, not to catch bus, not to go to movie, not to buy anything. All that rush, is just to go home. Being in afternoon shift, starting to home so early from office is very strange one. honestly, it has never happened till now for me. So, to answer what made me to rush to home that early, All to get more SLEEP. Having watched "Air Crash Investigation" Program in NGC, and having it as one of my fav program, i'll now try to put in the cause, how the events happened and the solution for it.

It all started with the journey from madurai to bangalore, last sunday night. As usual, I boarded a local Govt. Bus from madurai to Hosur. Which is around 10 hours of travel. I was happy that i got a window seat and i can keep the windows open all thru the journey. But the problem was with the seat itself. Somehow i feel like, the ergonomics of the seat in Govt. buses were done solely for the purpose of injecting pain to your body. And it happened so for me too. I realised the pain, only when i reached bangalore and lied down for an hour at home. When i got up to get ready to office on monday morning, its was a hell of pain on neck, spine and back. But, it was ok. nothing like serious one, to apply leave and take rest. i didnt have any problem in goin to office.

Then comes the second event, Programming. Wondering what does programming had to do with this. Actually, I started programming again after 3 years of gap, during which there is not even any incident for me to do programming at all. So, its sooo tough to start it again. Though this time its Programming in Flash ActionScript, which i love the most, because of the lack of touch, it was very very difficult for me to get into that programming mode. I needed extreme concentration and complete dedication on that, to atleast get myself into that programming mode, which is almost impossible during office hours, as there is tons of distractions gauranteed for me, since in Support Team. So, i had to pull myself into doing it in nights also. So, little sleep over the last few nights, because of this back to programming part.

These two are two seperate events, neither of which is so harmful enough. Caz, i have done both these things, many number of times. Its something similar to that of "Tacoma Narrows Bridge" Collapse in 1940. These two events are not harmful, till that resonance frequency. But, that resonance happened for me at 5pm yesterday. That pain gets solved if i take rest for enough hours, which was held out by that programming. The pain was still there for last few days, growing day by day, hour by hour. So, yesterday decided that, no matter what, i'm goin to take rest for some loong time, ie sleep for more hours, so that i can get out of this stupid pain part. And having planned for a Jungle camp this weekend, its so vital for me to get out of that, as early as possible. Hence, yesterday i rushed from office at 5pm, didnt bother to waste time in walking and catching bus, took auto and reached home at 5.30, since not much of traffic at that time, just changed my dress, and direct to bed. Had a 12 hours of non-stop sleep, after very loong time, and now i'm back to form, no pain, no tiredness. yahooooooooooo... And, will try to get prepared for this, if this kind-of thing happens any time in future. hopefully it wont.

Note: No blaming or pointing fingers at anyone. there is no one to blame, other than me, Always.

i don't really want a thermometer
for i can feel the freezing chill
right till my stomach

i don't really want a rain-gauge
for i can quench my thirst
with the dews in my mustache

i don't really want an anemometer
for my two tear drops
never reached my chin

What I really wanted is
for the first ever time
her hand to hold mine.....

I'm Banned!!!!!!!

Posted by redthil On 7/14/2009 02:16:00 PM

Its really interesting (most of the times), that over past some time, there are few words which i'm banned to use by my very good friends... few are banned just for them, and few banned totally to be used at all. Here is the list of few of those...

> freeya vidu
> pattaya kelappu
> periyaalu
> appaavi payyan
> poor kid
> diet

And the tough part is that, these are the words which i often use. So, its really interesting and challenging thing, to not to use, that too only for specific persons. But, i'm enjoyin it, and trying to keep this out of my usage vocabulary. hope i can do it for ever, caz i hope i can fulfill atleast this small wish of them.. :)

Oasis Mall

Posted by redthil On 7/07/2009 11:01:00 PM

If you have asked me, "Which is my fav shopping complex/mall in bangalore?", it would have been Forum or Garuda Mall, before this Oasis Mall opened (an year back i think). From then, the answer from me always is, Oasis Mall. Where is this? This is located near the Sony World Signal in Koramangala, right on the way which i travel daily to work. What all is there? Ground floor - its totally dedicated for Women, from beautful dresses to all new top brand Perfumes and specs, you get everything there for Women. First Floor - for kids and Men's wear. Second Floor - Furniture and other household items. All these three levels belong to LifeStyle. Also there is Max showroom in the ground floor, in the MLCP (Multi-Level Car Parking) Buiilding (behind the main building). Third Floor - Completely for SPAR (i dont have to tell what all you get in SPAR). Fourth Floor - Polynation : The food court which is open till 11:30pm and gaming zone for kids.

What do i like most here? well, i will try to answer this with, what i do there. As soon as i enter the ground floor, the mind-blowing perfume scents welcome me and also ensures that i'm visiting again, atleast for those scents. And this scent spreads through all the LifeStyle floors. So, i spend atleast half-an-hour, grazing thru all the new dresses and other stuffs. my fav place there is, the kids section (no wonder :) ). Once LifeStyle is covered, next is scaling every corner of SPAR. And in SPAR, i like two places the most, one, as usual, the Kids Section and the other, Non-Veg Section. You can see the Fish, Mutton, chicked, Pork, etc etc, all in Bulk amounts, spread across a huge area, all in one place. And there is a separate token system for this NV section (i have not visited other SPAR outlets tho).

(Green Apple Jam Filled Donut, Blue Berry Jam Filled Donut and
"Angel's Freezing Kiss" Drink)

Then comes the very important place in Oasis, Polynation. My fav stalls over there are, "The Donut Maker" and "Cream & Fudge Factory". As soon as i go to the fourth floor, always the first thing i'll get is, Green Apple Jam Filled Donut (little hot), followed by any other donut variety, and the drink "Angel's Freezing Kiss" ( in the first time, i went for that drink, just because of the name, Angel-Freezing-Kiss. from then on, it has become my most fav drink. i guarantee that, you wont go for the Third Sip of that drink). If possible, will end with "Chocolate Lovers" ice-cream from Cream & Fudge Factory. Otherwise, get the drink downstairs, will spend sometime in the small grass lawn, near the entrance in the ground floor. At night, it's really awesome to sit in the lawn, just relaxing to the core. Simply, you can enjoy the calm, relaxing, peaceful time there, which you wont get in any other big malls in bangalore. This is always my destination, when (sometimes) i feel like i'm missing someone (anyone) or feel lonely, also when i wanted a break (from anything).

History Heroes!!!!

Posted by redthil On 3/09/2009 10:54:00 PM

Heroes!!!!! how do you define this word? as soon as we hear that word, we always tend to think of the Reel Life Heroes on Screen. Even the definition of those imaginative persons got changed over years. Once upon a time, among a group of 10 guys, the one guy who doesnt drink is called as Hero, now, the one who drinks more is said to be Hero!!! by no way i'm in offense of any habit, each have their own choice and desire. just wanted to highlight the fact that, definitions change as time changes.

And when time changes, its called as History. And i always believe that "History is written by Winners Only". So, its always the winning side, are considered to be the Heroes. Whereas those on the other side, are portrayed in otherways. And here are the two persons, whom History has defined as "Anti-Heroes", but whom i like most and consider them as a real Heroes. Those Names are, strangely, Adolf Hitler and Subash Chandra Bose.

I've seen/heard/learnt about these two in lot of programs in television channels. All those programs portrays them as the counter-part for the goodness. I'm no way saying or arguing that what they did is right. All i wonder about them, and to justify that they are worth giving that title, are their courage, thinking different and doing what others have thought as never can be done. You know what, there was about 42 recorded attempts to assasinate Hitler, all through his life. And i heard that there was treaty signed when India got Independence that, India will handover Subash if found alive. The above two statements are more than just enough to prove that, they deserve it. And both were very very good in giving out speeches and has the power to inspire people who hears their words. And i always look at them with awe and wonder.

The Pleasant Dark Lonely Walk - 3

Posted by redthil On 2/22/2009 10:57:00 PM

mmmm.... back... again....

It was a perfect weekend as i planned for. Yesterday, went to meet my DBA team-mate, and wish him for getting promoted as Father. Honestly, this was the first time i ever saw a baby of just 1 week old. those little fingers, when i touched her, moved randomly, but rythmically. it was so cute. if we have kept a piano, we could have heard an awesome music. i could imagine that. very very nice. it was me, prabhu, pradeep, raja and rao, who went there. And thanks to Aunty, His Mom, for those wonderful Vada's. It was so tasty and i could not spare anything, finished everything. :) then spent few hours in shankar's house, watching the superhit movie "Villu"... As planned, a perfect day to end the week.

Its Sunday... though got up early, had breakfast little late, follwed by few fruits. Actually, planned to go to a restaurant Egg Factory for lunch. but since i had breakfast late, thought that will go there somtime in the evening. time is running too fast u kno, and these days i'm starting to hate me , when postponing something. so, no second thoughts. prepared dinner for my brother and started to Egg Factory. went there, had nice dinner, little costly tho, but i liked it. calm, relaxed and my fav food. its there at St. Marks Road, near MG Road. So, tought catching some auto either at Anil Kumble Circle, or Brigade Rd. or Trinity Circle. As i was confused in deciding from where to catch the Auto, i finally decided, not to take Auto at all.

Yes. decided to walk back to my home, which is around six kilometers from there. thought i'll get a cornetto, my fav, while walking back. hence just turned into Brigade Rd hoping to get it. but within few feet, saw a man selling Corn. :) got one baked corn, and started walking, looking at the tall buildings, glancing at those shops getting closed, wondering that a small temple is more glittering with colourful lights than the Bangalore Central itself, seeing those workers cutting iron rods in constructing overbridge for Namma Metro, finally reached Trinity Circle. And the corn which i also got over. :( so, went to the CCD @ Lido Mall, got one beautiful Blackcurrent Blast, and started walking again. superb road, not just to drive, to walk too. covered with trees on both the sides, smooth road, all buildings related to Air Force, just my fav songs, from Slumdog Millionaire, awesome it was. reached home at around 10.30pm, a wonderful dark pleasant lonely 1hr walk. A perfect way and day to begin a new week.

this is how i got a new fridge...

Posted by redthil On 2/16/2009 09:31:00 PM

Last Friday, i was in cab, started from office at around 12 in the midnight (i.e. saturday 12 am), planning for what all i have to do in the weekend. Had two main things in the list. First, going to the Cocoa Show - a chocolate exhibition at palace grounds. Second being, going to Egg Factory - a restaurant in St. Marks Road, where its Egg and Egg only, all variety of dishes made with egg. So, which one to go when was the confusion. Previously had thoughts of going to the Aero India 2009, but i dropped it because of two reason, one - no good camera with me to capture those birds in actions, two - no vehicle as i cant go there in public transport tho there was arrangement for that. Its Valentines Day on Saturday, so thought going to the chocolate exhibition would be appropriate. then thought that i can go to the Egg factory on sunday and went to bed little late, ie around morning that day. Woke up to receive call from my mom at around 8am, asking me to prepare something for breakfast for me and my brother. then came warning from my mom, not to go out that day anywhere. You know that i'm good kid, isn't it. Yes it is. so, was just spending time at home only. prepared puliyodhara (forgive me if i spelt it wrongly) for afternoon and dinner. didnt even open the doors. though didnt go out, chatted with few of my friends whom i used to call every weekend in the evening. i just watched tv most of the time and watched one very nice movie too.

Saturday gone like that, its sunday. i thought i can atleast proceed according to my plan. atleast go to Egg factory. But switched on my lappy, launched the game NFS Undercover. thats it. the whole day gone. But i finally completed that game, ie the storyline of that game, beat Carmen, collected all the evidences, its good to be Undercover, lots of fun u kno. It was 8pm in the evening. I just thought, why not breathing the outside air for sometime. put the shorts, plugged the ear-phones, played the "slumdog millionaire" songs, started walking slowly in snail pace in the 100ft road. after some 20 mins, i just saw this Viveks Showroom. ok. let me have a look inside. went in and found this guy (i dont know his name) who asked me what i want, as i looked as if i didnt come to buy anything from there. probably he might have thought that i have come there to steal something. ;) "i actually wanted to buy a small fridge. can you please show me what you have?", i replied. even though i wanted to buy one long back, i almost forgot all the models which i researched on that time. but from most of the reviews, i came to know that atleast the customer service is good in LG. So, i asked for the LG product first. And nearby there was one Whirlpool fridge too, with the same specification, but at slightly higher price. Asked that guy for the difference between the two, as i was confused to select which one. He told that going to LG would be a better option, as it comes with nice feature than the other one. "I said ok. i'll get this one". paid for that and returned home with the bill, and they promised me to deliver it today evening after 9pm, as it was comfortable for me to come home at that time. So, just 30 mins back, i got that LG Intellocool 185ltrs refrigerator at home. just switched it on. have to read the Owner's manual, and they have asked to keep it switched on empty for first 6-8hrs. and the count down has already began.

Now i can confidently say that, I'm Immune to Sadness or Love!!!

Posted by redthil On 2/14/2009 01:38:00 AM

Rewinding my life for about 3 years. That's the time when, When someone asked me "Do you love Me?". Without any research, without any background verification, without analyzing the likes nd dislikes of each other, without comparing where we're aligned and where we're not, without any hesitation, just kept her in mind, as a part of my life, for a second and it was that moment, The Moment, which i felt, like million butterflies flapping its wings, like million stars sparkling, like million flowers blossoming, like million rain-drops falling in dry land, in my heart. You know what, this what i feel and call it as "Love". And My answer, immediately was, "YES". It was just four days from that moment, during which we discussed lot of things because it wont be smooth ride for both of us to get thru this and I completely TRUSTed Her to the core - believe me when i say its so hard to get someone TRUSTing Her like that, when i told my dearest friend, honestly, it was him who found the difference in me and asked, He was so stubborn and doesn't want me to proceed with this thing. But even then, i TRUSTed Her so much and never wanted to step myself down or never regretted, Until i actually came to know that, my TRUST is not worth at all, its so so so stupid to TRUST such person. It doesn't matter whether its four days or forty years. Its just that TRUST which matters always. Its hard to put in words how that feels like. Damn!!!! And its Life you know. It has to go on. Whatever.

And it does not end with that. Even when you fall into deep water, like a well, it pushes you up for three times towards the surface, it gives you three chances for you to survive. I just thought my first chance is already over. And i'm in surface now. But there is this downward force which tries to pull you down. Though first time, its by accident, second time its completely under your control only. And i was ready to take the risk of the second time, but this time it was me who felt that i love HER (not the same person). But i never told HER, for that matter, not to anyone in this universe. As usual was waiting waiting waiting for the right moment. But only later to find that i waited too much and realized how stupid i'm to let all my chances down, only when i came to know that , SHE found HER good soul-mate. SHE never knew and will never know who HER BEST soul-mate is or could have been. I like HER so much, even when SHE told me that, i couldn't say anything, anything. How stupid i'm. there is no point in feeling so much for that now. And my second chance, gone for toss due to my stupidity. I still dont know, whether SHE's fortunate or I'm fortunate for this. Caz, now i'm back to the surface so strongly that no force, how much strength it may have, can pull me down. And its Life you know. It has to go on. Whatever.

By the way, wondering why suddenly confessing it here!!!!! You remember these words "somehow-sometimes-somethings-somewhere". yes, that feeling sad for nothing. the same one. finally found this is "The Thing". It was just lying in mind somewhere, without being told to anyone. This bug was invisibly creeping in my mind all these times. Finally, i found it, and throwing it down here and dumping nd locking it completely so that it never comes back to my mind again.

So, Whats the takeaway for you from this post?? First, if you think you Love someone, never wait for your turn or never wait for chance or never have second-thoughts to tell the other person that you love him/her so much. Even if you know that it'll surely get rejected, never hold back, just express what you feel,. Express yourself. Secondly, on the other side, if anyone proposes to you, just keep them in your mind for a second, feel how you feel, and if you feel like what i mentioned, then call it as Love. And i agree its risky. i agree something like what happened to me can happen. But, never call something as Love, if you do whatever i have told after "without" in the first para. Its something like arranged Marriage only, where you take time, get info of the other person, analyze everything, blah blah blah... Never ever call that as Love. Its so stupid to call that as Love. Love is there in Heart, which does not want anything like this. It has no connection with Brain, which does the analysis part. Love is purely about how you feel from Heart. Its purely emotional. Its always the Feeling which decides whether you're in Love with a person or not. Only after that, you struggle (in most of the cases, but the trend is changing) to make it practical. When you give importance to both practical and emotional at the same level, you should never ever claim you're in Love. And i strongly think that "True Love" has nothing to do with the number/times. At the same time, you cant say that you have "True Love" with many people, caz, as i said, its always like falling into the deep water.

And this post is not in intent of hurting anyone, or not written with keeping anyone in mind. though tagged as personal, being published here in my blog, you have every right to write comment. But i have only one caution or note or warning or DANGER, to you. Whoever it may be, Never ever ask me to whom those first two para refers to, until and unless you dare to marry me. Lastly, Happy Valentines Day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"And now i can confidently say that, I'm Immune to Sadness or Love"

Conditions!?!?!?!?!?! Wishlist!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by redthil On 2/10/2009 09:00:00 PM

Its the wedding season!!!! and its also the high time for lot of my friends, looking to be part of another persons life, to make that person's life more better, than before. Or accept someone to be their life-partner, to make life more beautiful. And hence i could hear most people, almost all, with a list, a strange list, but a meaningful one, meaningful atleast from their view. In their view, its called as "conditions", but i call it as "wishlist", caz, its difficult to satisfy the conditions, conditions are strict in nature... whereas wishes, are good if they come true, i would not call that as flexible, but certainly not that strict as conditions... So, just thought , for a while, what would be my wishlist, ONLY if its MANDATORY to hav one.... Came up with...

Should be ready to dive into the unknown ocean,
you can trust the costly oxygen mask for saving,
caz i know only how to keep floating...

Should be eager to travel to the North-Pole,
you can trust the high standard GPS kit for guiding,
caz i know only how to go along with life...

Should be prepared to accept the answer,
when you ask "how is this dress for me?",
the answer which you already know...

Should be a very good friend to me,
Even if not before - atleast after,
caz...(check the about me section in My profile)

And Last but certainly not the least,

Should be able to console yourself,
when you cry,
caz i wont be there.

The Pleasant Dark Lonely Walk - 2

Posted by redthil On 2/10/2009 10:50:00 AM

this was in drafts for quite sometime... thought will post this rite now...

Mmmm... for the newbies to this blog, if you're wondering whats that "2" for, check this.

It was wednesday last week, when i returned home at around 11pm. It was chill night.

somehow - felt i'm not living the way i wanted to live!!!
sometimes - felt i'm worrying, for nothing!!!
somethings - kept me away from being the most happiest!!!
somewhere - in my mind resided that unknown feeling of sadness!!!

so, as soon as i got down from cab, grabbed a cornetto, ofcourse chocolate flavour, and started walking towards a small park , just two street from my house. It was complete silence, little noise of those Big vehicles passing nearby. Apart from that, it was my all time fav songs (from Vaaranam Aayiram, Dil Chahta Hai, Bombay, Uyirae, Mask of Zorro, Happy Days, Paava Mannippu) which made the walk so pleasant. Just made sure that i looked straight only, so that i dont disturb unknown faces in those dark places... After that 30 mins walk in the Dark, felt so much relaxed that, as soon as i reached home, went to bed. very nice sleep, to begin the next day with more energy.

This time me no Crazy Kid... Me Poor Kid only... nd always...

Warning!!! Not for Weak Hearted...

How about Aerobics?????

Posted by redthil On 12/02/2008 08:23:00 PM

Wondering what this post is about??? Ya.. This one also falls under the category like these ones.

If i remember it correctly (u know that i have poor memory), this is the same question which arose in my mind, last Tuesday morning, when i woke up from bed. "Why not?" - i answered to myself, as usual.

Though i decided so easily, i just like that didn't want to waste money. i have already heard from few of my friends that this is really worth, if we do it regularly (which is not a big deal at all). And also came to know recently from one of my friend that this is indeed useful. So, no second thoughts whether to go or not.

But when to go was the main question. As per the office timings at that time, it was like impossible to squeeze that into my daily schedule. Though i had ample amount of time in the morning, as my day officially starts at 11am, doing such kind of activity in the morning may make me tired for the whole day, which i don't want. And about evening, though my day officially ends at 8pm, ___ (i think you can fill that blank with ease). So, going in the evening is ruled-out. The only option is to change my official timings, which is little tough solution, but a possible one. And thanks to my manager, who didn't deny my request and my colleague, who agreed to swap with me in the shift.

Then comes where to go... Having been here in BTM some 18 months ago, i pretty much knew each n every place here. Though there are about 3 health care centres where aerobics is there, i decided to go with one due to strong recommendation of one of my friend here. Went there, enquired about the classes there, found it gud n flexible timings and got the answer for my third question.

Having got answers for 3 of my questions, whatelse is needed... yes.. me joined Aerobics yesterday, just went there, paid my this month fee, warned that i'll be coming there today :) . So, i went there today. My first feedback for today's class is "Awesome". didnt know how one hour passed. just went into action right from the first minute. feeling really good. And will definitely go there regularly.

Ha Ha Ha... just got new Label for these kinda stuffs... "Casually Crazy".. how is it???

How about walking to office???

yup... this one is something like "klaW ylenoL kraD tnasaelP ehT ..." ... just got up from the bed early today, around 5:30.. it has been looooong time since i got up at that time... from arrival of my new companion, my lappy, i have never got up at that time... yesterday i went to sleep early, as i came early from office, at 10pm itself. So i didnt bring my office laptop with me to home. As i got up from bed, i just thought, why cant we go to office by walk?? i dont have to carry my bag also, since the office laptop is there in office, which is very rare thing to happen these days. Ok.. i'm goin to do that... freshed up, played games for 30 mins, and started walking from home. Did i mention that my office is around 10kms from my home?? ok.. now i have... started exactly at 6:50am from my home. The climate was not that cold, though it was chill, it turned to normal by 7:30 itself.. at that time i was near the Ejipura signal in Intermediate Ring Road.

I was so happy that i dont have to wait for the signal to turn green... wowie... overtaking all the vehicles which were standing still at the signal, i reached the all time busy Sony world signal.... there too it was heavy traffic.. surprisingly i met one of my college junior, just thought i have seen that face somewhere, but hesitated to go n ask as if its not her, then the scene would completely change. but as i said, surprisingly, she came forward, and little chat, just a little break there in otherwise a continous non-stop walk.

At around 8am, i reached madiwala. then i remembered to book ticket to my next week plan to go to hyd. went to manish travels, just asked when is the first volvo bus to hyd from bangalore, he said at 6:30, ok.. book i told, got my ticket booked, just 2 mins pit-stop there, continued my walk... thru maruthi nagar, BTM , thru the park once i used to go for walking, thru the plrk in which we played shuttle, thru the playground once we played cricket, i reached my office, which is there above shopperstop near jayadeva hospital, at around 8:50 am.. a non-stop 2 hour 10km walk to office.. was a gud experience.

But if you ask me whether i'll do this again, my immediate answer would be "NO" without any doubt, caz of two reasons:
1. i would be happy in wasting 2 hours of my time in any-other way than in this way.
2. On serious note, i dont want to voluntarily put myself exposed to a non-stop 2 hour 10km pollution.

Wondering what the subject is??? Dont waste any of your precious time in decoding that. Imagine like you are reading English, written in Arabic style i.e. Just read from right 2 left. Wondering whether i had gone MAD? Not really... Having read the subject (in the way it has to be read), i'm no way referring "The journey of Life". This is all about the 5km walk from Koramangala to Indranagar tonight. Here's how it happened:

Bangalore, Sunday, October 5, 2008: Me, with four of my other friends (ex-colleagues), went to HellBoy 2 @ PVR, 5.50pm show. After which we had dinner at Anjappar - A Chettinad Restaurant in Koramangala. Dinner was awesome, as usual. Had my favorite "Egg Appam with Poondu Kolambu" and few other varieties. I had only a little food (As you are already aware that i'm in DIET). Few Chit-Chats and when i saw my watch, the hour hand already crossed 300Degrees. So, i said its getting late and i have to leave , having the fact that bus frequency will become close to nil as it gets late in mind. One of my friend funnly asked "Going by walk???". And me, without even letting him to complete that question, answered "no chance. bus-stop is right there only" (pointing to the location where the bus-stop is, which is just 100mts away). After i bid adieu to them, as i walked towards the bus-stop, that question flashed in my mind - "Why not doing that?". Then thought "5kms... In late night... Thru that troublesome intermediate ring road... Alone... Someone doing such an act, will surely be MAD. Are you damn sure you're goin to do that?". But it has been years since i walked so long at late night. I remembered those days in college, when we (my hostelmates) go for night show movie on saturday night (as saturday is a free-night i.e. we can come at any time in night). And we walk back to hostel in late night as a group.

"Gone are those Days. I'm going to do it..."- answered myself, took my ear phones, plugged in to my mobile phone, selected "Melodies" in the playlist category and started walking. I pass that part of the route atleast twice a day. So, i knew that route so damn well that i could actually point out which shop will be at which location in that route. Only to discover now that i am wrong. There were lot of things which i have failed to notice in that intermediate ring road, though travelled thru it atleast 200 times, which last only for 3-5mins. Those increase in number of trees, bent posts, unlit lamps, pleasant noise which insects make, lot more... Tonight was unusually Dark. And not much of street lights switched on, thanks to our government (hope this is a move to save electricity. At times, we need to be optimistic u kno...) Not much of vehicles, thanks to the long weekend. Actually, the second one gave me more pros: first - not much of noise pollution, second - not much of air pollution, so that i was able to feel the cold breeze, passing thru my body. And when you see those vehicles emerging far away from you occasionally, it looked as if Bakira , with dark body and bright eyes, is coming to help you. (Effect of Jungle Book movie which i saw this morning). Was grazing thru all the magic events which happened during my college days. Again, Gone are the Days... It was a Lonely, but pleasant half-an-hour walk.

"And I'm not MAD. Just a Simple Crazy Kid."
